For as long as I’ve been working on Issliss (so since 2022 wow) I’ve wanted to have a place to update people on the progress. And in that time, Issliss has grown from a set of rules to a whole world<\/em>. This dark little fantasy has pulsed and oozed and thrived to a setting complete with biased historical texts, inflammatory religions (in more ways than one), widely disparate cultures, and even a whole written language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Naturally, I want to share it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But only a poor storyteller would frontload all her exposition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Luckily, I’ve been writing stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A multitude of Issliss stories, designed to carefully peel back the skin of the world to show readers what it means to be human in a world that despises humanity. Stories about the grit of the lowly human malcontents who aspire to become as equals to a ruling class which utterly dominates the continent. Humans who find a purpose in the industry-darkened cobblestone alleys and bone spires and seek to defy an oppressive regime who would do anything to taste the tenderness of human flesh. I’ll post some of them here, chapter by chapter, for your feedback and critique. And when a story is done I’ll revise it and package it up and offer it for sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of these stories will be labeled Graphic for sexual content. Don’t open the graphic category without reading the description, and then only if you’re prepared for some kink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Plainview is another project from Fablescraps. It’s a cozy retro farming game, but instead of farming crops, you’re an alien who farms human meat.
